Students will practice simplifying and ordering expressions involving negative exponents by physically lining themselves up based on the value of the expression on the card they receive (forming a human number line). Alternatively, you can also use the cards in cooperative groups and have students work together to arrange the cards in the correct order.
There are various degrees of difficulty throughout the set of cards for quick differentiation based on readiness. 35 cards are included.
