Metric System Staircase

Have you ever used the staircase to help your students convert from one unit to another in the metric system? This is a strategy I used a long time ago and a teacher I used to know just asked me about it. So, I created this for her to use with her students and I thought I would offer it here on TPT as a freebie.

It is a great way to help the students figure out which way the decimal needs to move and how many places they need to move it. If you teach the metric system, you have to check this out!!!
