Long Division Practice Sheets
Do you have a student who is struggling with the processes involved in long division?
This freebie was designed for work with students struggling with the processes involved in long division. It could also be used to introduce the steps to students new to long division. The pages are perfect for students in RTI process and\u002For with an IEP.
On each page, there are 3 problems with the steps, boxes for them to write in numbers for the quotient, subtraction, and remainder steps (if there is a remainder). There is also a "check it" section for students to check their answer with multiplication.
Note: I did not include answer keys to the pages and the pages do not contain cute graphics - I wanted to avoid distractions and did not want to overwhelm students with too many problems on one page; sometimes simple is better.

{Gator Chompin'} a place value game
This was my first freebie in 2008 when I started tpt - I have given it a major overhaul this year and I'd love for you to use it in your classroom! I used this when I taught second grade, place value was such a big emphasis. The greatest thing about this game - it grows with the kids! Just add more dice! To start 6 sided dice are great, but as you progress place value dice would be amazing - practice up to thousands or higher!
I love feedback, and followers... :)

Interactive Math Notebook: Word Problems {Multi Step: Whole Numbers}
Word problems are huge in Common Core and students need to be prepared to not only solve them, but to show and prove their thinking. I created this resource to help my students meet this requirement.
Have the student cut and glue the word problem paper (2 to a page) to their notebook. Depending on the size of the notebook, you may have to print the pages at 80% to have them fit on the page. They write the answer or solution on the word problem paper and then show their work, explain their thinking or prove their answer underneath the word problem on their notebook paper.
